What We Can and Cannot Answer
We can usually help route a question to the right guide, explain a calculator result, clarify a sizing assumption, or review whether a setup problem sounds like capacity, placement, drainage, temperature, or maintenance. The best requests include room dimensions, current RH, target RH, room temperature, dehumidifier capacity, drain setup, and the symptom that made you question the current plan.
We cannot inspect a home remotely, certify that a space is safe, diagnose structural water entry, or replace licensed electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or mold remediation advice. If the room has standing water, active seepage, unsafe wiring, severe contamination, or damage that keeps returning, fix the source before treating the dehumidifier as the solution.
For corrections, include the page URL, the exact statement that looks wrong, and any source or manufacturer documentation that supports the update. That gives us enough context to review the issue instead of guessing from a broad description.
